Take your stirrup leathers or fenders and grasp the adjusting flange.
Pass the flange from the inside to the outside of your stirrup.
Twist the part of the flange on the outside of the stirrup
Once the flange has been twisted, adjust the size and slide the excess into the notch provided (sheath).
A simple twist of this bridle positions the stirrup naturally parallel to the horse, making it easy to fit the stirrup.
Do you own older-generation stirrup leathers or fenders with independent adjustment bridles and would like to renew them?
Gaston Mercier bridles are made of pre-stretched full-grain natural leather to prevent stretching when the rider gets into the saddle.
