Elastic Sheep Wool Anatomical Girth
The anatomical shape, refined at the elbow, allows an ease of movement and the widening of the central part improves the distribution of pressure on the sternum.
Girth with elastics on the logo side.
Possibility to ask for a fixed girth without elastic, please mention it in the comments when you place your order.
For your information: the girths are now padded (exposed wool, as on the picture of the orange girth).

Anatomically Girth Sheep's Wool
The products developed by the Gaston Mercier team are originally developed for personal use. They are therefore tested within the stable and by our partners, and retained after an intensive use, in training and competition.
Our straps are anatomically shaped, wider on the inside to better distribute pressure and narrowed at the elbow to avoid impeding movement and pinching.
The stainless steel roller buckles are protected in a sheath, into which the straps are inserted.
When the saddle is in place on the horse's back, the girth should be a handbreadth behind the elbow (about 10 cm, with the horse on its feet).
